J can be described in a lot of ways. Tall, cute, funny, smart, smart-ass, tall, friendly, quiet, kind, sarcastic, tall, generous, pessimistic (though he says he's not pessimistic, he's realistic), goofy, hard working and tall are just a few of the descriptors that come to mind right off the bat.
J's whole family is tall. His dad is about 6'6" tall, and his baby sister is about 6' tall. J is 7' tall. On Easter weekend, J's sister C wanted to get a picture of him standing next to her, because the people she works with don't believe he's as tall as she says he is.
Believe it or not, I usually forget how tall he is. Sometimes, though, there are things that happen, or I look at him from a different angle, or I see a new photograph and I realize again how freaky tall he really is! Some day I'll put together a collage of pictures of J with other people so you can see how his head always sticks out in a group photo...it's pretty funny!
Here's that photo of J with his sister. Remember, she's nearly 6' tall herself! (Isn't she cute, too? When J and I started dating, C was nine years old and in the third grade. She was several inches shorter than me, but that changed quickly! She just turned 20 in November. She and I were talking over Easter when we were running some errands, and I came to the startling realization that I have been with J for MORE THAN HALF of C's life!)

Well, I'm still ashamed to admit that the first words out of my mouth upno meeting him for the first time (when you guys came to visit newborn Emily) were, "woah, you really ARE tall" as he literally had to DUCK DOWN to get in through the doorway!!
Emily was only three the last time SHE saw him, and you reminded me she referred to him as "the big boy". LOL!!
Wow, he is tall. And you seriously weren't kidding about a tall family! Once my grandma tried to hook me up with a guy who was
6'11". Needless to say, me being only 16 or so, and already dating my husband, wasn't interested. But I am also only a tish over five feet, so it was a HUGE difference.... though if we had hooked up my poor kid wouldn't be BELOW the chart for her height. lol
