The other day during third hour I was getting really frustrated because my kids were not listening. This time of year it gets harder and harder for seniors to be focused on school. I am not willing to give up the fight yet, though, so I just fell silent and stared at them until they got quiet. I waited until there was absolute silence for about ten seconds to prove my point.
I opened my mouth to speak, and before I could get a single word out, one of my darling boys in the back row lets out a ginormous belch.
It was disgusting and a show-stopper.
Once I quit laughing, we got back to work.
