Where do you think best? This may seem odd, but over the past few years I have come to realize that I do my best thinking in the shower.
Seems strange, yes?
I think it's because it is the only place I am not distracted by a million other things. I am forced into quiet reflection because there is nothing else to do. I can't watch television, listen to the radio, read a book, or play with electronic gadgets. J is typically sleeping still, so I can't talk to him. I've tried talking to myself, but that just seems so strange. The cats will hang out in the bathroom, but talking to them is basically like talking to myself.
I have no choice but to think. And, it's amazing the thinking I do while washing my hair! I do my best lesson planning in the shower. I get my thoughts organized and finalized. I make plans and set goals.
And all of this in the ten-fifteen minutes it takes me to shower.
If Obama wants to spring for a bigger hot water heater, I just may be willing to tackle a few problems for him!

I used to say the car, while driving somewhere, but now I generally have very chatty little children in my car, and I'm not allowed time to think anymore. LOL! So now I'd say "late at night, laying in bed, when I should be sleeping!"
