J and I were watching television together Tuesday evening. I was waiting for Big Brother to come on at 9, and he was waiting for the new episode of Eureka at the same time. From 8-9 we watched a show called Wipeout! Have you seen this show? It's ridiculous. As far as I can tell, the whole purpose of this show is to complete these ridiculous stunts that are nearly impossible.
Who on God's green earth would willingly subject themselves to this craziness? I mean, honestly, the name of the show is Wipeout, people. What do you think the goal really is? That's right. To capture awesome and painful wipeouts on camera.
It's unreal the things these people subject themselves to. What has this world come to? I love reality television, but this is ridiculous.
Tuesday the episode was the "Wipey Awards" show. They were showcasing some of the more amazing wipeouts contestants have experienced over the season. Let's just say that there is no limit to the lengths people will go to just to win a little money.

We saw the season opener episode of that show, and it was hard to laugh at the same time as cringing and wincing at the wipeouts. LOL We've never remembered to watch it since, so obviously it didn't end up being our favorite show of the summer!
Have you see any of the "I survived a Japanese game show" ?? I saw a small portion on several different occassions. Pretty wild!
I've never seen or heard about the show...sounds like "Jackass" that show was well dumb but funny!
I question the same thing when it comes to ALL reality shows. What is this world coming to?!?!? I've become a tv snob!
