This first one is a late birthday card for a friend who HATES all things veggie. She drinks about four glasses of water trying to wash down broccoli...and she says she "likes" broccoli. She drinks V8 to make sure she gets veggies in her diet. But I don't know that she's ever even tasted it, she slams down two entire cups like it's a shot of alcohol! I nearly wet my pants laughing when she told me that she tried to be a vegetarian once, but it only lasted a month. Frankly, I'm shocked she lasted that long! What on earth did she eat for an entire month?
My sister L gave this to me for my birthday a few years ago. Coincidentally T gave me a card that had a monkey on it that same year! I can't find that one, though..
This one is maybe not so nice...but sometimes it's exactly how I feel. What do you think?
I can totally see this exact same conversation happening forty years from now! I think it makes me laugh because it's unexpected from sweet little old ladies, ya know?
