Anyway, I was at my mom's recently, digging through her drawer of old photographs and I came across this one. J and I had taken Zoe to get her claws clipped at PetSmart (back before we had Sid and before I was brave enough to clip her claws myself). When we arrived, we were simultaneously horrified and delighted to find that we could have Zoe's picture taken with Santa Claus! The photo shoot cost $7, and you got two copies of your Polaroid picture. The profits went to local animal welfare. We thought it was ridiculous, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to have Zoe sit with Santa.
If he asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she didn't tell us...

My cat would have peed all over Santa in her fear, or scratched the snot out of him. She's a very timid cat and really only likes Emily and I, and tolerates Dan and the boys. No one else. LOL!
That's great the money was going for a good cause! And it's a pretty funny picture!
